Yeah, but they play power influenced folk metal... these guys are straight power metal. The cheese is too forced here. It's like Dragonforce with songs.

ok i listened to this twice. three times even. as i fell asleep tbh. not that it put me to sleep i was just tired
i'm giving this a 3.5 because i think its great. i'll probably never listen to it again in my life and still can't get into metal apparently, but i know good musics when i hear it!
and yeah this album is peppy

This album is pretty good but not as great as Astronomy imo.
I think Starfall prototyped what Astronomy would sound like. (Have you heard their earlier work? bleh)
And holy batmans, someone else has actually listened to this band.

The earlier albums are more power metal I think. Astronomy is a lot more heavier than previous works in my opinion. Astronomy is still a solid album by all means though.This Message Edited On 12.05.08

Astronomy is sooooo much better than Starfall. The songs are still good, just nothing terribly exceptional in the realm of power metal save for the The Book of Shadows songs at the end.

Probably one of the most underrated bands in Power Metal. Some great melody's come from this band that get stuck in your head for days. Just listen to the intro off the title song "Starfall"
