It's been well documented that Axl was going for a different sound with the album...so how can you fail at something you weren't even trying to do? You could also say that Axl failed at writing a gangsta rap record as well, and it would be just as irrelevant because that's not what he was trying to do.

Godawful album, there's honestly no redeeming qualities. GNR lost there spark when the whole fucking band left. Good review though.

I disagree with the review, this is good Hard Rock album, some songs here are pretty awesome. Only thing this should have been a 10 song album instead of 14.
