I've only heard "Love Lockdown," "Amazing," and "Street Lights," but they all blow really hard (excepting Jeezy's appearance).

wow this review is really good.

It makes me want to check it out.

I was a little bit sceptical about the auto-tune he's adopted, as you said, t-pain uses it, and i dislike t-pain oh so much. When i first heard the single love lockdown i was put off, though its now growing on me because of that beat he has going on during the chorus. But i agree it is very good he can experiment with different styles of music.

Why is it than whenever AutoTune is brought up, everyone thinks of T-Pain?

There's plenty of other acts who use it.

Auto-Tuning has been around a long time before T-Pain. He's a visionary in a business sense, sure, there are plenty of peeps on this planet that are just suckers for the Auto-Tune and rap music hadn't really utilized it much before. But in an artistic sense Pain is just another tumbleweed that'll be gone soon.

T-Pain created autotune in a secret laboratory in his basement but then the white man stole it from him and gave it to Cher and now he is returned to take back what is rightfully his

Yes Iluvatar, I just disagree with you calling him a visionary, and the way you downplayed the words use, just because its tossed around a lot doesn't make it any less than it is.

I do agree that his vision is a profitable yet unnecessary one; also I said that I disagree with your use of the actual term, not T-Pains actual vision. And in a hip-hop sense T-Pain isn't exactly transcendent...he added pop flavor to already bubbly music, pretty much. I'm referring to club rap of course.
