The consistent country twang gets boring by the end of the record and he reminds me too much of AA Bondy, who achieves a similar sound but a lot better imo, so this kind of pales in comparison. Moments such as in "Blood of Our Fathers", where he sings the prolonged "oooh" just sound out of place and forced.
I like his voice when he's just doing his breathy rasp though, it fits the music well. Cover art sucks though. This Message Edited On 11.04.08

I didn't really think it was consistent, per se. It was more folk in parts than country.
Never heard of AA Bondy either.

i think this is ok, for free music, as above im gonna need to listen to this a few more times... all i need now is to stop listening to "Dance Wiv Me" by Dizzee Rascall and Calvin Harris...that bass hook is so catchy!
