Oddly enough, I haven't bought this album yet. I was going to the other day, but Best Buy didn't have it :confused: Guns of Brixton is a great song.

Haha....NO. What's Going On is great. Rumours is sappy overrated crap(besides Dreams, that is a pretty good song). Go Your Own Way is the most annoying song EVER.

Isn't this on the Rolling Stones top 500? At number 2? If so, it should be mentioned in the review.
Haven't heard any Clash, except for of course 'Rock the Casbah' which is cool. I should hear this.

I'm not really into "punk", I think it's full of assholes and hypocrites. However, every song on this album is genius, especially "The Right Profile."

Good review, although I'd say a little too generous towards the tracks in the later half of the CD. I now own the new bonus set DVD/CD, and honestly, if you aren't an absolute hardcore Clash fan, save the twenty bucks and spend it on another one of their albums.

Really amazing album. Rudie Can't Fail is my favorite (although it's more ska than reggae,) closely followed by Jimmy Jazz.
Rolling Stone said it was the Best Album of the 80s, and I'm pretty sure it's in the top 10 on their 500 Greatest albums of all time.
It was also voted Number One British Album Ever.
