it's pretty good. the pianist is so damn good though, too good to be honest at times. i don't see what all the big talk about the pianist is all about, it's ok, at least in a technical aspect.

The end of Prayer is almost possibly the greatest section of 2008 for me.
Just wish they'd cut out some of the overt repetition and monotony, and cut down on the endless trills a tad.

I understand why people find this album annoying, to be honest the screamo parts and the piano loops started to annoy me too after a while, but I kept finding myself coming back and listening to it and eventually everything started to click, although I stil think "L'ceil est Dieu" adds nothing to this album. I can't help but love the blend of contemporary classical, opera-esque vocals and progressive metal.
My favourite tracks have to be: intro, Die Ewige Wiederkunft, Sappho, Prayer and Hai No Hi.
