well i would if I knew how anyway, apparently putting the image in the 'Add Album Artwork' box under Edit my Reviews doesn't work, oh well.

The original black artwork should stay for the ten track version.

The kissing artwork is for the CD version.

I think you gave these guys way too much credit for this album, but your review was really well written.

I can see why you would think I gave it too much credit, I understand how Bloc Party fans would not be happy with it, but to be honest I love this album so a 4 is probably about right in my mind.

Thanks for the compliment by the way, always nice to know someone enjoyed reading a review.

I loved Silent Alarm, but never got around to hearing AWITC. I remember the first time I listened to Intimacy, and after 5 songs I couldn't take any more and shut it off. The amount of electronics and layers on the album was extremely off-putting initially, but this album is really growing on me with repeated listens.

AWITC was much more of a grower than this.

They've only gone downhill from Silent Alarm. AWITC was decent, but I can't stand this.

Eh, I love AWITC more than there other albums. I'm probably going to review it soon (but not in the usual sense).

Well, I'm not much of a reviewer, but I'm a good storyteller. But thats if I can ever be fucked to actual start writing.

None of this once-upon-a-time crap; review the album or don't. Pretty simple.

Also, when replying to this, double post.

We seem to have similar taste. I juist picked up weekend in the city because it was cheap. I'm quite enjoying it and I guess it grows. Is this new one better or worse?

Better IMO, but this one sort of fades whereas AWITC grows if you get my gist. Still a solid 4 though, and the standout tracks are pretty awesome. It's worth listening to some of the singles to get a feel for the new direction of the songs, but if you like them you should really look into getting this.

Hmm, picked up extra tracks for this yesterday. Talons is a real grower and the three b-sides are suprisingly excellent considering their b-sides. Understandable why they weren't on the album (well, no, Your Visits Are Getting Shorter probably could have fit) but great nonetheless.

This album almost seems better than when I first got it now. I guess thats what happens when you leave it alone for long enough.
