If the album has some good moments, I think a 1.5 is a little harsh for it. I actually didn't mind this.

People in my area adore this band.

I like the Zoolander reference.

That's one of the worst bandnames I can think of.

great review, great album, i think this is one of the more well rounded bands as far as the vocal work goes, nick is crazy talented to be able to scream and sing, i've seen IDT in concert and to be honest, his screaming/singing did sound a little forced, but the cd is great nonetheless

Eh....no. I actually kinda hate this album now. It's so incredibly generic that it's not even funny.

I've only heard three songs and a cover, but they seem pretty good.

Well, looks like we have different views on metalcore.

These guys just don't do it for me at all.

Lacuna Coil's cover of Enjoy The Silience pwns the crap out of this band's cover.

I just can't stand the clean vocals. The guy can really bellow when he wants to, I think he has a very powerful growl. Then he screws it all up with his punk-like fashion-metal (Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold [both of which I wish I never heard of]). Forever Scorned, although nothing spectacular, showed alot of promise. This album dissapointed me, and the only songs I can stand are My Promise and The Depravity Waltz. On the other hand, those two songs are freakin awesome, with My Promise on my list of baddass songs. Not enough for a good rating though.

Corrections - Metalcore does consist of a fair amount of solos.
- It also consists of lots of double bass work, not as much as death or black metal, or bands like chimaira, but just listen closer. Either that or your listening to the wrong bands.
- for double bass, get KsE, All That Remains, and Bullet for my Valentine or somthing like that.

This is a decent slab of Metalcore. It really is alot better than I expected. I could do with a little less clean singing though.

Ye this isn't really anything exquisite. I like your track-by-track though.

The vocals aren't to good. Sounds like he was holding back. Other than that this album is pretty decent! : )

Are you serious TheSunSleeps348? Thats all you got for double bass? Sure they do it but theres better out there.

Ex:Bury Your Dead, As Blood Runs Black, Darkest Hour, The Black Dahlia Murder.

Bury Your Dead dosent roll that much but he can sure take those kickers for a walk. Listen to "Top Gun" by them. SICK!

i remember when i first got this cd i thought it was about the greatest thing ever.... there are some highlights, solid drumming, some good vocal hooks, and good Guitar riffs, but now listening to it.... just doesnt have the effect it did, i would actually give the album more of a 2.75 if it were an option
