The Cure´s more eccletic albums always worked better for me than the gothic ones, so this is one of my favorite, along with their mid-80s albums.
"Want", "Trap" and the rarity "Home" are still on my TOP50 the Cure favorite songs.

I've lost my mind. "Want" and "Round & Round & Round" are great.

I don't even think the lowlights on this are that bad, I feel like I've gone crazy. Nothing here is even close to their worst.

Track-wise, probably "Screw" off The Head on the Door. Terrible.
Album-wise, probably The Top or 4:13 The Dream. But I haven't relistened to the latter yet. Maybe that'll change.

When Smith starts singing “But there are long, long nights…” towards the end of Bare is among the best moments in their entire discog.

"...worst?" "Album-wise, probably The Top or 4:13 The Dream. But I haven't relistened to the latter yet. Maybe that'll change."
He doesn't know! He doesn't know he's a month away from giving 4:13 Dream a 4/5! Hahaha!
