i would have to disagree with you on your comment about the band being in the hardcore category, theres a lot of punk/hardcore elements to this cd
I think I did mention this album having a 'punky vibe' to it and I can see a bit of the hardcore style coming out in Strait's vocals. Musically though, this is primarily nu metal with all these other influences coming together.

There is a song on here I would recommend to you both, since it seems like you guys are going to take this to the next level. Its called 'Get Some Keez' and I swear this song has been used in a porn before. Can I join the love train too? Orgy?

Speaking of Orgy, you should review their debut album. I loved it when I was a lot younger but I haven't heard it in so long except for the occasional playing of Blue Monday.

Candyass was a fun record back then but they are still a painfully mediocre electro/ alt/ nu-metal band. And they just got worse with time. I might give it a shot when I can find the time.

This is a great record. Wouldnt even call it nu-metal. Just super-groovy and California'd out. Although it is heavy as hell in some spots.
