Well here is where I got my answer.
You and AtavanHalen have fairly similar opinions most of the time, so I figured you'd like this, just like ol' David Young did. Boy was I wrong.

I suppose that was a fair enough assumption to make Chucky, although ATAVAN does tend to really really like a lot of albums that I tend to think are just ok. Funnily enough, they are mainly British (EG: Bloc Party, Newton Faulkner, etc...).

Far from it Brick. Look up my favourite bands in my profile & (while they are not in definitive order) 3 of the first 4 are Brits. You can add Funeral For A Friend & the likes of Arctic Monkeys to that as well.

Yeah but Funeral suck.

Have to go with Atavan on this one...never much cared for FFAF though they did have that one song on the Masters Of Horror Soundtrack that was pretty bangin'...Arctic Monkeys are pretty good from what I've listened to but haven't bothered to dig in farther than the singles...

Ok, we're getting a little off track here. Let's save the FFAFriend talk for approximately 2 weeks time. I was just trying to deny Atavan's accusations that I was anti-Brit. Hell, I gave The Script's album 3.5 didn't I? Not to mention a certain other British artist who sings that great song that Atavan likes so much; 'Walking Away'!

Does the band's nationality really matter in the long run? haha

And lay off The Script Atavan. Even Splat Out Sexy Men said 'We Cry' was one of the songs of the year.

Yes, but Dave also thinks that Appetite For Destruction and Shout At The Devil are classic albums.

Careful Atavan or Axl & Vince will come knocking down your door.
Hey, I just realized that the track listing for this album is incorrect in 2 instances. Sure, I would prefer that 'Behind The Sea' did not exist as well, but for correctness' sake, how can this be fixed...???

Can't you fix it under edit your reviews?

Haha, tell it like it is ILUVATAR. Then again, you may be with him on The Script. Actually, if I recall John, you don't mind Maroon 5 & Matchbox 20, both of whom are not unlike The Script, so I would be interested to hear your opinion on them.
Ok Brent, I will see if I can fix the track listing myself that way.

I must be the only person on the planet atm who isn't impressed by Artic Monkeys...
As for this album...I heard Nine in the Afternoon and spent a large portion of the time immediately afterwards laughing at their foolishness. Nine in the afternoon...there is no nine in the afternoon!

I doubt you are the only person Captain North, but the Monkeys have me won over (especially their debut).
Atavan, whatever did happen to that 'As The Roots Undo' review of yours...??? It was attracting more hits than an NRL Grand Final there for a while & then disappeared off the face of the Earth just like Sonny Bill Williams!!!

Deleted it because I thought it was almost as bollocks as the album itself.
Also, don't compare it to sport- I hate sport!

Righteo on both counts... Maybe I could have made a comparison to a disappearing hour last night. Is daylight savings getting earlier each year or what?
And careful with the 'As The Roots Undo' hate as I won't be able to save you if the entire website comes looking for a lynching once more. Just for the record, I have not yet heard that album, so cannot agree or disagree with you. Unlike 'Pretty. Odd.' where we do indeed disagree.
