Ok, even though I've never found this band as anything other then boring I gave this a try cause of the review. It's easily better than their past stuff, and I even found myself enjoying most of it. After one listen, probably around a 3.5

Me neither. Most black metal in general is pretty boring but Enslaved just happen to be greater than the majority perecentage of black metal bands.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm hahaha. Enslaved only touch on black metal a bit. I hear progressive death metal with folk sensibilities and a bit of black metal atmosphere.
