you can see me after the first "wo wo" part that Matt does after the solo. im the whit kid with dark curly hair near the right pumping my fist up. about the 3:00-3:01 part of the video. the indian kid to the left of that shot is my best friend who won a contest for us to be in the video. then im seen again near the end for a second. also for a split second during the big solo. i was in the making of the whole scenes where the crowd is shown but only a few times i was seen. one of the best nights of my life, so much funThis Message Edited On 09.23.08This Message Edited On 09.23.08

I'm just glad he isn't trying to sound constipated like Hettfield all that much anymore...that alone makes the album loads better...

I enjoyed the way you looked at Trivium's past and compared it to this album, seeing as I'm one of those people caught in the expansive middle with this band hahahaha. Excellent review and I will most likely give this a listen.

So yeah this album is pretty sweet, even though I loathe Heafy's vocals at times. The middle to the end of the title track to the end is phenomenal.

This is an alright album, still suffers from a few Crusade problems, like Heafy's vocals, stupid, over the top lyrics, and the song structures. I also feel like there is no honest way to look at this album without looking at the abomination that was The Crusade. I also feel like there may be a slight bloating in scores due to the relief that this isn't The Crusade, A "Death Magnetic" syndrome if you will.

um not for me. i truly enjoy this album and think its good enough to be a 3.5. i think a lot of the lower scores (1-2.5) are for the fact that The Crusade was bad and they cant get over the fact that this is actually a lot better.

The fact that I am currently listening to this album, even after nonstop listening over the past two days, is an indirect kudos to trivium for creating some good music.
