There are an abundance of good Christian bands around if you look hard enough...Underoath and As Cities burn are pretty obvious ones and there are a bunch of newcomers that have the potential to be good (like Oceana). A bunch of people hate The Devil Wears Prada but I don't think they are as bad as people make them out to be...certainly not wonderful but they are good at what they do (making more or less run of the mill metalcore, though sometimes they have their moments of greatness). Plus they're spectacular performers.

I don't like much Underoath, maybe because I was over exposed to them here in the sunshine state, didn't like As Cities Burn. I've been bagging TDWP for a long time now but I do like me some Haste The Day, Becoming The Archetype, Renascent, Antestor, Extol, and old Demon Hunter. Even some Trouble I might add. There is some good white metal to be found.

Demon Hunter used to be awesome man...I don't know their newer stuff just seems really...played out? Oh I forgot Haste The Day (though their new album is pretty overproduced and even more generic than their older stuff was, maybe its just the vocal differences though idk)

I think that this album is a little bit too biased. Everybody compares The Showdown's last 2 albums with their LP "A Chorus of Obliteration", which wasn't that great of an album. Sure, the guitars were sweet, but after 3 listens, it got boring. "Temptation, Come My Way" didn't really satisfy that "Metal" feeling to alot of people, but it was still good, showing a strong Metallica feel throughout. Now that "Bakc Breaker" is out, I honestly believe that it is their strongest, and best album so far. It has alot of what "Chorus" had, but they carry the torch a bit further. Sure, the screams sound a bit over-produced at times, but it is still metal enough to make a grown man pee in his pants.
