Your FACE sounds horrible.

So does butter.
Check out the myspace tracks first before indulging an hour of your life into this. The songs/ samples sounded HORRIBLE.
Hahaha. I think I heard that stuff some time ago. It didn't sound too good.

I do like 'Lies' off Korn's s/t though . From the songs I've heard, Head is just riding high on Korn's coattails making this sound plagiarized and just plain bad.

Your face is butter, so that means it's awful.

"Lies" has always been one of the higher points for me on the album, mostly because of Head's vocals in the chorus; I actually think most aren't aware of that feature.
If not for him, I'm kinda curious about Trevor Dunn and Josh Freese's input on this release.

I didn't know that Head was a backup singer in that song. Cool fact!
Josh Freese was a great drummer when he was with The Vandals and APC. I'm guessing his contributions on this album amount to nothing but a fat paycheck in his pocket

It was a great album, but honestly the lyrics are terrible. I couldn't start laughing on "Flush", I think it was. This Message Edited On 09.28.08

Pretty good but I don't really like his voice

While the lyrics are not the best the instrumentals more than make up for it. Besides this is Welch's first attempt at writing lyrics for a full album. Listen to this album for yourself.

Ya know, when I first heard that Head was going to leave Korn to become a Christian and play Christian music, I imagined him in a field of flowers wearing white robes surrounded by little children and playing acoustic guitar.
Then I saw the video for Flush.
I lol'd.

I listened to this carefully and it's not really good. A few songs are quite enjoyable but most of the tracks are average.

A lot of the songs seam to scream FILLER (like most albums nowadays really) pretty good nonetheless

well considering singing and lyric-writing were never his burden to bear, he came off well enough. for a first go at things it's really pretty good.

So you were trying to laugh, but just couldn't force it out. I couldn't laughing myself as soon as the opening flush came over my computer speakers.

Maybe so, but it matches the creepiness of the tunes.

His voice is actually pretty good, suits the music.

If you're not looking at this album from a Christian viewpoint, you are obviously not going to like the lyrics. IMO, the lyrics are amazing because they are built around how he got saved from his addiction to drugs and alcohol. This album is partly his testimony and also worships God.
