Oh my, I didn't know that about Pierre producing this. That was probably worth including in the review actually. Then again, you probably would have reduced MCS's fanbase if you had said that.
BTW (just in case you miss it), a question is asked of you in my TAI review...

Record is awful. At least now I don't have to listen to the whole thing. I'll confess Shake It does come on the playlist for parties at my apartment but aside from that the record blows. I can't believe I had to sit through their live set. Twas awful.

I love you line in the conclusion about this being fine background music at a party. That perfectly describes this. Although there are some catchy points and all that, this is really, really disposable pop that has only the potential to be interesting for about four minutes.

I think the only thing that stops this from being a two is the fact that Trace Cyrus is as ugly as sin.

I usually try not to use the word gay with any kind of negative connotation. When I use it, it really has nothing to do with anyone's sexual orientation. I just got used to putting in place of words like "stupid", "irritating", "pointless". Just wanted to clarify that.
This album is fucking gay

the first 20 or so times I heard "Shake It" I could only think to my self, of FFS not more of this mediocre crap. The suddenly, the strangest thing happened. The song got stuck in my head, and whenever I heard it, the tune greatly improved my mood, and then I knew all the words and everything! After the song finished I felt so dirty for liking it so much. I decided to be adventurous and 'sample' the album at a CD store listening station. Glad to announce that the rest is horrible.

How dare you say those horrible things about Metro Station. are you people on here so nerdy and judge mental that you site here commenting on how a band sucks?? if you think they suck thats your frickin opinion. keep it to yourself. None of us fans really care what you think about the band. Alls we know is that they DONT suck and we dont go around bragging about our opinions to everyone cuz we RESPECT other opinions until they do this. I would really like to see all you nerds who commented badly to get up there and play on a stage and make an album better than metro station. Sure you might be thinking oh no problem. but becuase you sit here doing this, you obviously have NO TALENT and cant do that. its not as easy as it looks so give then som fucking credit for trying anyway. They OBVIOUSLY dont suck, otherwise their single wouldnt have gone platinum now would it? they wouldnt be headlining a sold out tour this fall would they? no. because they DO NOT SUCK.so FUCK OFF.

I've been making music better than Metro Station for about four years now with a few different bands. And I'm my biggest critic.

You hit the nail on the head about it being "party music".
Don't get me wrong, the songs are catchy but as band they can't seem to produce anything substantial.
