but surely this album is better than a 2. technically you're correct about the 2 guitarists in the band now, but you sort of sidestepped there. nice work. for some reason this album sounds way better on vinyl than usually is the case. I still like instrumental bands, and these guys are still one of the best.
their best albums are singles breaking up, what burns, and world class listening problem imoThis Message Edited On 09.17.08

The first 3 albums and singles were the sh*t for me. It all started downhill for me w/ American Don. I listened to that album maybe 10 times total and w/o Banfield, it just wasn't the same. Especially w/ that album being the follow up to their best album for me....What Burns. My jaw dropped the first 5 times I listened to What Burns for 8 hours straight from Pittsburgh to SC. Now, I just can't stand the excessive looping and layering ontop of layering w/ just one guitarist. World Class was ok and got my attention again, just long enough for this to come out and set me straight again. What a tease. Sounds more like a really bad Speaking Canaries album if anything...or not. 2.0 +/-This Message Edited On 10.29.08

I guess my problem with this is that people are essentially saying that Damon Che should stop drumming. which would be retarded.

Pretty sure nobody is saying that.

album is not much worse than anything they've released since For Respect

I don't know why everyone hates this album. It isn't that bad.
