This Acacia Strain album sounds like......

...the other Acacia Strain albums.
while it does, i couldn't get into the dead walk really at all. this on the other hand i totally could.

Its decent, but the chug chug chug chug can get boring. "Skynet" is pretty good song

by far their best effort yet. havent heard it all, but everything i have heard is better than the vast majority of their previous work.

its a good overall improvement, though a cutback in the chug couldnt hurt too much

this album is a huge step up for these guys. if you haven't gotten into the acacia strain yet, you must check this album out. i personally think this is one of the best releases of 2008 so far. i recommend listening to "skynet", "dr doom", and "baby buster".

This album is good and I like it, but it's nowhere near the best album of the year so far and definitely not deserving of a 5.

this album is pretty good

"the dead walk" is way better in my mind. "3750" wasn't that bad, but "continent" is better

I think this CD is the most clean and concise CD they have put out. And i absolutely love the meshuggah influence. Thomas Haake plays the most crazy stuff. and i think that the acacia strain is showing a sign and pointing a compass in the new direction of hardcore. hardcore is gorilla biscuts rip off bands anymore its the acacia strain and the like. good review. very objective. no unecessary opinions. This is one of the better hardcore releases this year. I just wanna say recon can suck it. "there aint nothing like the real thing".

the acacia strain isn't deathcore. they have no blasts or stupid BREE/pig squeals and they sound nothing like all the other deathcore bands out there. This is the new direction of hardcore.

i just saw these guys open for Protest the Hero and Unearth

lame sauce, extra spicy.

This reiterates the notion that "metal-core" is deteriorating to the point where bands are making dance music for pseudo-metal heads.

i think this is pretty good, i got out their last album as well and i'm starting to apreciate these guys more as i pay closer attention. i think these guys are one of the most ripped-off bands nowadaysThis Message Edited On 12.31.08
