based off what i've heard i don't like Skinny Puppy half as much as Numb :/

Rabies, Last Rights, Too Dark Park and The Process were all pretty good but something has always felt impersonal to me, as if they are reaching for a sound I dig but not quite nailing it. That's probably just me though.

Ok, album clicked and I had to bump the rating. Damn, been listening to this and Fuckit for the last couple of days and I kind of want to dance...

Oh, I can't wait it's going to be one of those albums that sounds horrible at first and then wallops you in the nuts the next. This Message Edited On 05.13.09

It's sounds pretty good the first time around, it's just that there are a few songs that are more brooding and less in-your-face.

You might like that Fear of God album I just reviewed. You can ignore the review, just click the link in the first comment and check out the song.

Just listened to this again in full, the appeal of the later tracks has waned a little. The first few tracks and the closer are flawless, though.

I've been listening to a lot of Andy Leplegua's projects (Combichrist, Panzer AG, etc) and this album is such a nice change from that sound.

Thanks for the review, another album soon to be added to the collection.

Yeah. I think Numb's sound totally destroys the Combichrist style.

It does, though CC will hold a special place in my heart for a long time. I still need to get this, I had trouble finding it and gave up but I'd really like to enjoy it in full.

I... I never knew what I was missing! This is stunning; the layering, multiple vocal techniques (as you mentioned), this is some great stuff!

The album after this is like being beat by an electro baseball bat.

I don't know if I'll venture past this for awhile, it's quite stellar.

Ah if only work was computer based, I'd be on far more often than I am now! Got to balance (or try to) all these new rec's to check out.

More is always appreciated, I like knowing artists that the local DJ's rarely play or somesuch; makes for a good night when you can compliment them and say "I knew every track you played"
