I love The End of the World. My favorite is probably To the Fallen Hero though.

God Forbid are pretty damn good. They're better than the majority of metalcore that's for sure. On the other hand there are still better metalcore bands. So yeah!
They are awesome live though.

They're more thrash metal than metalcore tbh.

Hardly ....there are thrash elements for sure but these guys are more metalcore.

Think of it this way, who do they fit in with better?
Thrash
- Slayer
- Megadeth
- Anthrax
- Testament
- Municipal Waste
- GOD FORBID

Metalcore
- All That Remains
- Converge
- Unearth
- Botch
- Killswitch Engage
- GOD FORBID

To tell you the truth I dont think they fit with either of those. They sound nothing like metalcore bands like All That Remains or Killswitch or thrash bands like Slayer or Megadeth. I guess God Forbid is just really unique.

Cool things, I'm not really all that into genre arguments anyway. Onto other things, what do people think of Bring Me The Horizon's new sound:

NEW SOUND --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZUmNaXFNnM

OLD SOUND --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWggPLXeOkU

they take metalcore, with some Campbell's Chunky-esque thrash guitar, and thrash solos, and then theyve got that melodic sound. So its like Trivium's ETI and Ascendancy, with good song writing and a better vocalist.....idk

we wont bash you for not liking them bunit, at least u gave it another listen.

Uh ok?

Sorry Hawks, I just hate it when another band for other reasons gets brought up and a comparison war starts; even when the two bands have nothing in common.

Bleak123,

Very nice sub genre analysis hahahaha.

I'm starting to lean towards The Lonely Dead being the best off here, the intro and outro are spectacular, especially with that dying guitar solo at the end, epic.

Divinity is my favorite. The entire song is so damn chuggingly heavy and it just makes me happy. The end scream is epic too.
