Haven't heard anything from this, but I have The Book of Heavy Metal and I think its awful. I'll stick to Firewind if I want power metal.

Yeah try out Firewind, Nightwish, or Falconer. Those are probably my three favorites. Poet could definitely help you out on this one though.

Excellent debut for the band. Most of the songs are as straightforward as fist-pumping heavy/power metal gets, but Dream Evil manage to pull it off with a great all-round instrumental performance. I personally think the vocals are weak in comparison to the musicianship, but that is only a minor flaw. My personal highlights would be "The chosen Ones" and "Heavy metal in the night".

Power metal ain't my cheese, but it's creamy enough.
