Why do so many people complain that The Seduction and I am Hollywood are misleading? The rest of the album is also stellar.

Here are my problems with this review... (this has nothing to do with the personal opinion of the reviewer on the quality of this record in any way whatsoever)
Saying Schuylar Croom is the primary songwriter (songwriting in and of itself not only includes the writing of the lyrics but also includes the writing of all of the music) is an assumption. There is never a distinction clearly naming the primary songwriters of this band. Their albums always say something to the affect of "All music written by He Is Legend." To state that in a review can be misleading to readers and cause them to believe something that might not be accurate. That's dangerous. A better thing to say, as an assumption, would be that he is the primary writer of lyrics. That's a safer assumption to make since he is the vocalist.
Another thing I have problem with is the fact that not only do you list McKenzie Bell as the LEAD guitar player, but you list him as the ONLY guitar player. The lead guitarist in He Is Legend was, is, and always will be Adam Tanbouz. McKenzie Bell was the rhythm guitar player on this record, and as far as I know he was not a main music writer in this band (this is speculative, but considering he was released from the band, it seems as if he wasn't the main guitarist or a huge collaborator of the music. McKenzie also joined the band after they had already been an established band in their high school days and the band flourished and continued to tour and put out albums years after McKenize was no longer a part of the group). That fact that they have two guitarist is a well known thing and can be verified very easily by looking at pictures of the band on their websites or even looking at the personnel listed in the liner notes of this album.
That is all.

You seem to know a lot about He Is Legend.
Why don't you review the album yourself?

It's obviously easier to write a short review reviewing the mistakes of the reviewer.

This album is great, Schuylar's vocal melodies are so eclectic

Sorry, new to the site, I know nothing about this "sound off feature." I was just pointing out mistakes. And I only know details about He Is Legend that they have had on their websites and in their album information. Easy information for anyone to find and use.

You tell him not to make an assumption about Croom being the primary songwriter, but then you immediately make an assumption about Bell not being involved in songwriting either.

Well, yes I did make an assumption, but if you will read the part after that I used actual information about the band's history that backs up that assumption. Which is different, in my opinion, than blindly saying that Schuylar is the primary songwriter without having any information that supports that statement. But I guess you win, because I'm a new guy. Shucks, the smart guy on the internet bested me. Bummer.
