That's how I felt about it at first but it just kind of wore thin after a few listens. Still, its not really a bad album by any means.

Am i the only one that actually likes this album? i feel that everyone on here now days is just looking at individual instumentation. And have really forgot about what music is about. So what if its not technical. Were The Beatles technical? look at how far that got them.
Listen to each song as a whole. Don't focus on an individual instrument. The sound that the combination of instruments and vocals put out is amazing. Everything works together. Nothing is out of place. Everything compliments each other. Leaving The Earth and Monumental Treason both have parts that give me chills.

This is one of the defining "cookie-cutter metalcore" cds for me. I can't really articulate it, but the album feels tight-knit and a perfect almost "poppy" quality to someone who listens to extreme music. This CD will always be somewhere in my top ten, so disappointing to see them break up.
