this is no feedbacker or heavy rocks
+1
But Boris has many faces. In this record, they fit pretty well in their "mainstream" (mainstream in terms of Boris) suit
When it first came out, i used to listen to it for months.
imho, it's a must-have listen especially for summertime, where the heat strains the time and space, fooling the individual's senses.

I'm really convinced that it is now. Very diverse while amazingly consistent.

Yep, Flower Sun Rain is one of the best things ever.
And seems like most of the people that dismiss Buzz-In, Laser Beam, and Statement don't much care for their psych punk side anyway.

Might do it at some point. I'm planning on doing Heavy Rocks II and maybe Attention Please when those drop.

anyone listen to both this and the Japanese one?
i am listening to it right now.
think of it like this...
the american version is a crazy person, maybe a little off,on some meds but can still function. still goes to work, has relationships, still gets eight hours of sleep.
the japan version is completely off the meds and has flamethrower...and hasn't slept in 2 weeks. this motherfucker does NOT want to be social.

| |
What's the difference between the two?

Japanese version starts with a very different version of Statement. It's like an electronic version and it's about 7 minutes long. A lot of the songs are different on the Japanese version.

| |
So one is heavier?

Yeah. Basically, the American version has a more straightforward mix, while the Japanese one is more experimental.
