I agree that the song names are annoying. Song names shouldn't be that long or pointless.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't be that impressed with this band if I hadn't seen
them live. They're a band you have to see live.
The albums are pretty decent. There's some really cool stuff on both of them, and I
stay hopeful that in the future they'll make their great album (though I really really
enjoyed the new one...).
But the intensity and passion during their live shows is incredible. The whole venue
was a mosh pit. Most of the kids there had come to see the band Gwen Stacy and
just stuck around for the Inhale/Exhale show. And I don't think any of them
regretted it.
They sound great live. And their energy is fierce and contagious. The lead singer is
all over the stage. Stage diving. Singing to fans. Jumping up and down. The guy
freaking grabbed me by the hair and continued to scream the lyrics as I contributed.
Great live experience.
At the end of the set, the singer trashed their drum set. He smashed the cymbals
on the floor. Tossed the snare against the drum riser. He threw the bass drum
across the stage. And they waved to the crowd once and walked off stage. It was
like the band was saying, "Here we are. This is who we are. This is why we play. If
you don't like it, screw you. We're gonna go ahead and rock your faces off anyway."
This was the third time I saw them. The second time was at a festival, and they
were intense. And the first time was in an even smaller venue. The singer walked
into the crowd. They talked to the crowd. And, after the show, they ran their own
merch table partially because they weren't popular enough to have someone else do
it. But mostly because they wanted to talk to their fans.
They're a very sincere and honest Christian metal band. And they put on one heck
of a show. Which makes the albums sound that much better and
fonder. This Message Edited On 06.19.08This Message Edited On 06.19.08

I liked the songs on their myspace quite alot, they have the whole heavy/soft thing going on, which done well sounds great (underoath) and I like the dudes voice. But im willing to except that they are generic metalcore and nothing new or clever.
They have talent so maybe once they stop ripping off better bands and being the proverbial sheep, they could be good in a few years?
Not heard the whole album yet, have a feeling i might be disappointed though as i was looking forward to this. oh well.

still haven't heard this but i enjoyed their first album a bit though

You both sound a bit idiotic, honestly.
Especially when AntiCitizeN is digging the crappy new NJ album.

IMO they have improved quite alot since there first.
|

Better than their last album, "It's Myself vs. Being A Man" is probably the best song on there.

Ryland Raus's clean and harsh vocals are stellar. It's what keeps this from being average, and makes it good.
The Lost, The Sick, The Sacred = 2.5
I Swear... = 3
Next album = 3.5
Great! Let's hope.
