I'm going to have to check this new Offspring album out as soon as possible. I've been waiting very patiently for a new album from them.

Good Listen, Half Truism=instant classic, really great anthem type song, and I also have to agree that kristy and Fix You are 2 good ballad type songs, my only difference with the reviewer is that i feel the lyrics are very good, at least the ones I've looked up which are Half Truism and Fix You which is especially nice.

I reckon its pretty good. No joke songs, but remains catchy.

This is the best album Offspring have put out in a long time, the first 6 tracks are brilliant, but the rest aren't up to par with them. But I would still rate this album highly, a return to form for The Offspring

I didn't think I was going to like this....but I was wrong. It's a pretty good listen.
Although I'm sure "Trust In You" seems very similar to Lightning Rod from Splinter in some of the harmony/vocal pattern.

Trust in You sounds like about every traditional Offspring song ever made. But it's good.
Also, thanks Jom.

Great review. Not really sure about this though. I'll need to listen to it some more.

i grew up listening to these guys :')

likey sucky..guitar hero is reasonable but not bagable.. i agree though. i saw these guys 10yrs ago in their prime and they rocked the shit..ixnay style, and they were intense..this is crappola..40 something punkers..does this album title resemble a certain patience, grace grohl ripoff..come on!!!This Message Edited On 06.18.08

Im quite sick of the whole "Oh they ripped off the Foo Fighters with teh album title" when they've been working on this album for 4-5 long years and had the concept figured out before the foo fighters crapped out their latest release so grow upThis Message Edited On 06.18.08

From what I've listened to so far, the album is not bad, sounds a lot more mature than previous albums, but as Spat Out said, it might be lacking that 'fun factor' that made the Offspring great. I'm still undecided though.

I'm liking this alot, its such a well put together album, it flows great. My favorite tracks right now would have to be Trust in You, You're gonna go far kid, and Takes me nowhere.

well, apparently we wont have to wait long for another album after this. on the offspring.com forums someone posted a link to an interview (with Noodles) where he said after the RAFRAG tour, they will be going back into the studio to record a follow up to RAFRAG.
