Just to hear their rationalization, which is more evident than ever, they don't seem to have one.

Here, for the last time are my three major points.
1) The lyrics make us as people look mentally retarded.
2) They mostly rip other people off and showcase no talent, no form of intrumentation, they rely simply on synthesizers to do their work and of course their shitty vocals. Most of the time they don't even attempt to sing though.
3) Their overall appearence is ridiculous, mostly due to the fact that they try so hard to look cool.

Music doesn't need singing to be good. Spoken Word artists can be good. Some people can write really well and sing (Serj Tankian), some can write really well, but can't sing (Bob Dylan), and some can write really well, but don't choose to sing (Common).



Your comment on the lyrics only is based on the mainstream rappers, and yes those lyrics are pretty retarded. But artists like Common, Kanye West(Non-Graduation West), Lupe Fiasco, and several more you never hear about, write lyrics that have an impact, not many rappers do that nowadays. that answers both 1 and 2: they don't need instruments or vocals to have a nack at something. The Roots do their own, live instruments and their are many from the underground that do that as well.



As for 3, you are completely basing off the mainstream rap, which is garbage by any standards. Some rappers, again one's you never heard off, don't try to be cool. The Roots, Common, and many underground rappers don't try that at all.

Kanye sucks, Jedi Mind tricks aren't bad. And Bob Dylan can sing, thank you.
