And it's fine if you don't agree curseworship; in my opinion it is. This wasn't a hasty rating on my part either. I've listened to this album a great many times in the past year. I've listened to it while running, driving, and studying. It is spectacular.

Seriously though, why don't people like this album? I don't understand. Anything that you could possibly criticize ATR for on more recent efforts, such as whiny vocals and predictable song structures, just isn't present on this album.

Such an underrated album  . Really the only flaws I can see are that 1.) title track is too repetitive and 2.) Meh production quality, but I actually like the production quality. Makes it feel like a 90's melodic death metal album  . Such awesome riffs and guitar solos on this album, and Phil has beast vocals without whiny cleans.

Have to say, this is one of the most underrated albums on Sputnik. I find this far more interesting and creative than the other stuff I've heard (Fall of Ideals, Overcome)

Wow im two songs in and i already dig this more than This Darkened Heart and The Fall of Ideals. Really like the rawness and how its lacking breakdowns :D

Great to hear people finally discovering this album! The only review I ever wrote for this site and my opinion still hasn't changed on it. To see where they are now and than listen to this is mind-blowing.

A decent start for them. You can really hear the Gothenburg in a lot of Oli's riffs here, and there's even a soft acoustic section in Clarity that really brings out the melodeath influence. Overall not too bad, just not as good as what came after it.
