From the first few listens of this I can safely say it is pretty damn impressive, exceptional even. I love this kind of music.

Yeah, I've only played this once, but it was really REALLY good, very entrancing.

downloading this now after listening to the myspace tracks...i could see myself really getting into this fantabulousness...the only song not from this album sounds quite different from the others and the upgrade seems to have been for the better...will post later with opinion...

Doesn't just sound like but is...i love the drumming and vocals and general awesomeness of each song...this really should have more than 5 votes...very good review and i guess i need to listen to some Agalloch now...This Message Edited On 07.04.08

Finally spun this enough times to rate it. Really good stuff. Honestly don't hear the correlation to Agolloch all that much. Change, Labyrinthine Straight Ways, and Today Sunshine... are all incredible. Nothing and Subterranean Airports are also really good. Rest is good enough.

Yea, since listening to this, i've listened to agalloch and i can see some similarity but not that much, i really like how as the album moves along it goes from mostly harsh to mostly clean vocals, and its almost an atmosphere of hope...maybe i'm just gay who knows...i can't listen to individual songs from this though

The spoken word passage in Nothing is actually swedish. I'm not sure but i'm guessing it's a sample from a Bergman movie.

New album eclipses this by a mile.

This is pretty cool, band seems promising. Really dug A New Constellation, this one feels a bit more messy but still has some pretty slick elements in it; the sax in progressive death is far more wicked than I expected
