Did Elliott record the drums on this album? i could have sworn he quit shortly after Doom. and it just doesnt seem probable that he could go from the drumming level of Doom to this level in such a short time, altough the time between the two maybe longer than i think.

He did yeah, when they were recruiting a new drummer they had to be able to play what Elliot had recorded for this album. There's an interview on the net somewhere about it.

Really great review, pos'd.

Thanks man. Appreciated! This Message Edited On 05.20.08

I think this is a good album. It shows a lot of potential, they just need to vary up their sound a little bit. Talented act and hopefully their next release will be an interesting affair. Good review too - very fair and balanced. Gonna pos.

Cheers man. Definitely looking forward to a new album, just hope they know where they've gone wrong here and produce a really decent album.

this album... meh... hardly full length doom was just as long with 7 tracks and one being a min long intro... doom was much better johnny needs to have high screams more i dont really care about the squeels but def more variation needed. this album id have its moments though, reduced to mere filth...

I really enjoyed this cd, the grove riffs are well placed, just loved the overall feel of this album.

As I said somewhere else, I love that one song JFAC play, too bad that's the only song they do.

I agree Johnny needs to mix it up, but I think he could lay off the piggy noises.
