I think this is an excellent album. Good Ratings, only I dont understand how u give nothing below a three and give five fives and your final rating is only a measly three. Mathematically, it doesn't work bud. I love Twenty-Four and On Fire, as you do. Good taste. Not a big fan of Ammunition though.

I don't mind these guys but they're nothing special. Just can't seem to keep me interested though.
I was reminded of Third Eye Blind (their self-titled anyways) at times listening to this for some reason.

Its a good album, i thought the review was bias. As a christian myself im not big on Christain contemporary music (points to profile) i liked it when i was younger than grew out of it.
Switchfoot has never has preachy lyrics or straight up religious tones. Their lyrics are just about humanity and rising up to be more and questioning the status quo.
So id say its a good album and well done. Not amazing everywhere but its catchy nice and the lyrics however are quite good. Because i agree that just singing about god is not deep lyrics. Id say these lyrics for the most part go beyond that and bring things very down to earth. Which to me is alot about what faith is about.
