This is probably the most upsetting/violent string of comments I've ever read. Still, It's funny though!

"Green day is not pop punk, they just have a few up-beat songs."
Huh? do they have a song that isn't upbeat? what would you call them then?

YO! huever sed green day were pop punk were way off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! green day are ska/punk, and compared to sum 41 and blink 182, they suck! the songs that green day write have got a crappy stucture and dont put in any diversity into the music. Sum 41 are one of the most talented bands in all of punk rock! and the guitarist is so much more talented than the average punk band! listen to the solos in any of their albums!

I remember buying this album for like 8 bucks when Sum 41 were just local no-names.
This album was fun.

i like makes no difference, another time around, second chance for max headroom and what i believe on this record. The rest are kinda average imo

oh and on green day - surely 'dookie' paved the way for most the late 90's pop-punk bands? I mean most them cite green day as an influence, including blink 182 & sum 41.

You said it!
Note to anyone who likes "makes no difference"; find a song called "Pressing on" by Relient K. It's like the same, except that "Pressing on" is better and faster.

This is a great album imo. Makes No Difference is one of my favorite Sum 41 songs. A very good debut album I thought.

Shut up asshole.
There's no reason to go on a crusade on every single Sum 41 message boards. You can go to the band homepage and change thier genre if you care that much. This Message Edited On 06.20.06

Actually, they are pop-punk. All Killer No Filler is a pure pop-punk album. Theres nothing wrong with that. You might need to listen to some punk bands to see the difference. This Message Edited On 06.22.06
