Funny how I actually like some of their songs on this album?

Yeah, I do find "Incomplete" video a bit funny as they are way too dramatic

I have yet to hear the bonus tracks, but of the regular tracks, I'd say Final Origin has made an accurate judgement on Incomplete, Crawling Back to You, Never Gone, and Poster Girl. The first two are well-written, well-produced, and incredibly well sung. The third song is real and relevant to at least one of the members, and that's genuine. Poster Girl and Weird World are a welcome departure from the oversaturation of lovey-dovey lyrics prevalent in both pop and r&b music.
As far as the video for Incomplete, that was exceptionally poorly done. It looked for all the world like they were mocking themselves.
In the end, it comes to this: if you want Black Sabbath, this band isn't what you want to listen to. If you want good vocalists and light music, some of the songs on this album are a good choice.

Well said Senavi. Exactly what I am saying to the people who are rejecting them before hearing the new style.

I never could like these guys, living with a boy band obsessed sister (she still believes NSYNC is working on a new album). But the way everyone is talking about this album, and the fact that I am willing to try anything once I might check some of it out.

On my end of it, my musical preferences were actually in favor of bands like these guys when I started listening to music. It was more that I detested much of the messages found in a lot of stuff out there in other genres than anything else, and I saw love as a much more noble thing to sing about.
But to be fair, a lot of it *isn't* about real love. It's prepackaged stuff about puppy love. Just empty words that sound good.
I hate that there is a word limit on comments...
As I have more to say, the other half will immediately follow this.

I've come more into real music in the last few years and have developed a much greater appreciation for artistry and lyrical depth and can see that these guys weren't and aren't what I thought they were. Does that mean they're not worth a listen? Nah, I bought the album and listen reguarly (at the moment) to the songs I like on it. It's just you can't expect the same thing of them as you can from Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, or any of a number of incredible artists and performers who have made hit after hit after hit that is chock-full of meaning and skill.

The lyrics are not great but the way the lyrics are released (I mean sang), you don't seem to care as the words seem to fit in the singing well.
I think everyone should try this as it is something different to what they usually do, its a very good outcome IMO.

My sister just bought this CD and all I can say is wow. She hates it because it doesn't sound like all of their old stuff which she idolizes, but I enjoy it. It shows that they have grown up, and they can sing amazingly well. All in all a solid album if you want to hear some great singing.

Yeah, this is not really for the ones who worship their old stuff. I agree, this album has amazing singing.

I just looked at what the critics said about this album and they give ratings that are so stupid like 1 star or 3/10 which is just a bunch of crap. Have they actually listened to it twice or just judged them by their names or cover which is not cool.

I've just seen the new vid from "Just Want You To Know", they are actually dressed up like Motley Crue and posing like them as well. Whatever next!!!!!
Someone voted this album 0.5/5 and didn't say a thing, again judging on their early work I see, Rayne, you haven't even heard the album, I can clearly tell cause you haven't said anything so you're a bunch of crap aren't you.

I seen the vid 4 "Just Want You To Know" yeah dey look like some 80's hair-metal band....They call demselves "Sprinkter",
seriously radical video frm dere early vids (choreographed dance moves wit teenyboppers).....but i liked dis video, it wuz like so fun and me and my cuzs and friends wer actually enjoyin the video...
It looks like dere breaking out frm their teen-pop mould and want to experiment...anywayz good luck 2 dese guyz..

I will never ever be interested in this band and am glad that they can never recapture their former glory and bloated overexposure ever again.
But if you listened to the album and somewhat enjoyed it, then I don't know what to tell you. Good job?

Let's just say that this is totally a different experience, as I said I hated their old stuff but this is so much better. The critics are being a bit jugemental and just plain stupid. You should judge the album by your instincts and do not look for advice by other sites.
