This album has potential. Already better than Daydream Nation as far as I can tell.

I'm beginning to question if anyone on the first page has listened past Schizophrenia. About the album, it's easily Sonic Youth's best, even better than Daydream nation. Every song on here shines, especially the lulluby-ish Cotton Crown, which is just so brilliant and soothing that I couldn't name a better song by Sonic Youth. Ace review, nice intro and good descriptions.

Sure it's better than Daydream Nation but it is not SY's best album. There are three tracks that I dislike, the albums closer 'Tuff Narl' and the second track. I think that all SY albums have some brilliant tracks but I always wind up disliking a few ruining some of the album for me.

Hotwire My Heart seems a bit out of place on the album, my least favourite but it's enjoyable. Master-Dik may seem out of place but it's so weird that it should be on Sister. This is my third favourite album, behind Washing Machine and Waking Hour Fantasy Country.

Man, I gotta listen to this again. The first time I only thought it was okay, but i heard Pipeline/Kill Time on SY's site mixtape and loved it.

I got this on vinyl because of a two for 20 deal for two albums by the same band.
