Good review, and an excellent album. I actually prefer Disc 2, but that also depends on my mood - the two discs cover very different territory very well. And the duet with Norah Jones on "Virginia Moon" is gorgeous!

I thought that this was a really boring album and that there was only a couple of good songs like DOA and Resolve.

Not a huge fan, but the singles sound good, so I may pick it up.

The singles are good, and there are some other songs on the album that are really good ("The Deepest Blues Are Black," "The Last Song," "In Your Honor," "What If I Do?" "Virginia Moon," and "Friend of a Friend"). The album overall is kinda heavy (which is kinda crazy for a mainstream rock band) and good. You NEED to buy this album.

I don't like them. Got nothing to do about what I said.
The reviews I write are without plagiarism or bias to any sound or genre, but as a third-person presenting facts and logical comparisons. My personal feelings are not concrete and solidly agreeable, so when they are presented they are isolated and left to be viewed as such. The ratings for each album are not shifted due to what I am currently interested in, but out of a calculated sum ranging from originality, ability of repeated listens due to consistent effort and solid production, poetic lyrical structure, and overall musicianship.
That shouldn't need to be there.

how do u do a quote box?

You do this minus the full stop.

[.QUOTE]I am a chattered chameleon
Or if you want the name in it's

[.QUOTE=Cathedral]I am a chattered chameleon
And it should turn out like this
I am a chattered chameleon
