This album is utterly lifeless drivel. It is slow, unmoving, and any bright patches it may have are over shadowed by the understanding that it's been done before, far better.
It's so drab.

I saw these guys about 2 weeks ago at the Docks in the T-dot. That was some live show I will tell you. I agree with the review, and as someone said earlier, checking out Heart can be nothing but a good idea. I personally liked celebration guns and....your ex-lover is dead.

Yep. Pretty much. This is an awesome album, and these guys are just as great as The Arcade Fire and their fellow A&C'ers Broken Social Scene.

Just now heard this album.
"Your Ex-Lover is Dead" is ... wow, what a song. The rest of this album doesn't even
come close.
I feel like it should be the new Arcade Fire single or something, not a song that has

I Like it but don't love it for some reason. I love everything about it but i just can't seem to get into it like i should its perfect in everyway for me. The makings of the great but without the gun.

Nice. I don't completely agree with your recommendations though.
If I were to recommend three tracks, they'd have to be: Your Ex Lover Is Dead, One More Night, and Calender Girl. I'd like to throw in Celebration Guns and He Lied About Death (magnificent instrumental. its the one song on the album where the drawn out instrumental break seems completely right.)
well written, all in all. i wish you talked about more than a few songs, but i guess that makes it seem a bit more professional.
