Got this as a christmas present n not come out of my stereo since. Right now "Nothing as it seems" and "Go" are my faves, but there are so many great tracks that my faves change with almost every play - something for every mood!

Oddly enough, my favourite PJ album is Yield, which most fans seem to dismiss.

Yield is one of my favorites, I enjoy it a lot. Ten, No Code, and Yield are ones I like. But I like all of them, and they are too different from each for me to determine favorites. I can't compare Ten with Vitalogy, they are completely different!

Seriously, this is one of the best, most comprehensive, greatest-hits collections I've ever seen. No major omissions or jacked up pricing because Pearl Jam have real respect for their fans.

As for the music itself it's nearly faultless, no matter how many times I hear "Alive" or "Yellow Ledbetter" they still blow me away.

The only songs I can listen to on this are the ones from Ten, everything else isn't very good IMO

Good review, and very good compilation.

Like any real Pearl Jam fan I would make my own compilation and leaving out tracks like: dissident, elderly woman, betterman, once, do the evolution and breath. But I understand why these songs are present here (popular, live-favs, radio-hit..)

The only classic which should have been on and is not is "Hunger strike", yes technically no Pearl Jam song, but as the reviewer explains very well, an essential track in the PJ history, it should have been on to not fade away into history and to remind younger people who discover PJ now of those wonderfull first years of the band.

This is the first Pearl Jam album I bought before I went to see them at M.E.N Arena, State of Love and Trust, Rearview Mirror, and and Go are my favourite tracks on the album.

Breath, State Of Love And Trust and Yellow Ledbetter are so good, how they didn't make it into any album of theirs is amazing.
