Ummm.....dude. You're an idiot. They're here to express their opinions and throw in some negative feed back, so that it doesn't turn into fanboy-fest 2006

I'm growing agitated with the phrase "fanboy".

Yeah, its kind of stupid. Metallicaman has an avid point. People dont like certain types of music and therefore want to rip on it. That is their opinion. Although Dwoggie I understand what you are saying, they do have the right, and bitching about it wont make it go away, so leave them to their silly opinions.

Great album. I personally think this is a better thrash album then MoP. Faster, harder, angrier, etc. Mustaine and Poland are much better guitarists than Hammet, as well.

Agreed.

Gigantour is in Toronto today. I wish I had the chance to go out and see Megadeth live. Oh well...

Well, this album is for any thrasher in the past 20 years, has to be up there in ya top 10... Hell, even Lars from Metallica used to trash this one in it's day, to the secret of Hetfiled at the time.

For me, its probably like top 3 or 4.

Songs like Wake Up Dead, are at the top of my Most Played Ipod List...

p.s the 24bit DVD-A 96kHz version of the Album is Brilliant. Good Mourning is SUPURB hearing the intro solos pan around a 5.1 space.

Wake Up Dead, the conjuring, Deveils Island, Good Mourning (intro) are my favorites. I Love peace sells too, but to me its not what defeines the album.

Alright, it's on.

First off you need to back up everything you just said. Anyone can just say "Oh, this is better than this because I say so". That sort of attitude doesn't fly here. You think Megadeth are better than Metallica? Fine, as long a you back up your opinions. Second, their instrumentals are far from superior. Overall, I'd call it about a tie. I'll admit that Mustaine is better than Hammet, but don't forget about Hetfield. Most people on't know this because he's the rhythm guitarist, but Hetfield can shred up a storm when he wants to. In fact, he writes most of Kirk's solos. If you think Dave is such an astounding guitarist go watch him try and play the solo to Cemetery Gates on youtube. Lastly, you're obviously biased as in reality Megadeth and Metallica are rather similiar bands and pretty evenly matched instrumentally (not counting Lars), so if you like when you really can't be too unfond of the other unless you have it in for them. This Message Edited On 01.14.07

Good review but Peace Sells is a good song but not a 5/5 more like a 4/5 and Dave's volcals are not insane insane volcals for him would be like Devils Island thats a great song. The guitar riff for Devils Island isn't that fast i can play it on guitar and trust me its not that fast. Hey awsome review man.
