I simply do not think this is a good review. No offense to you personally, though. It's just not a trustworthy review. For instance, Randy does not sing on any of the sections described. Those are all Nate. Also, you could also speak of the originality of the music, in addition perhaps, a little more attention on the lyrics. Your language also does not fit well, either.

dude, although i agree that their old stuff is awesome, it was also overrated.... this actually turned fans away and left only a few loyal fans, like myself. i love both albums

I also happen to like their new style more, just because it's more original (exclude the Deftones & Glassjaw influence)

I found that the new album took a long time to sink in and I still don't listen to more than a few songs from it. It's good, but not great overall- some songs are too much like filler songs.

i disagree, i hear major effort in every song. not alot of bands can say that these days. i really like this album, it obviously took alot of effort, and its really frikin' good.

Why the hell is finch rated as pop-punk, such blasphemy to this band.

they are rated pop-punk because of their first release, i think. this would be hard to place for me, i dont think this fits into just one genre.

People say their stuff is emo, but i disagree. Sure, they have some emo lyrics, but the actual songs they are in arent emo most the time.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WOW! FINCH'S NEW ALBUM SAY HELLO TO SUNSHINE; PROBABLY THE MOST UNDERATED ALBUM I HAVE EVER HEARD. I HAVE YET TO HEAR ANY OF THEIR NEW SONGS ON THE RADIO, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY. I BELIEVE OUR MUSIC SOCIETY ONLY LIKES PUNK ROCK OR METAL/EMO...BUT FINCH HAS A LITTLE BOTH IN THIS ALBUM AND BYGOD IT SOUNDS AMAZING! MAYBE PEOPLE ARENT USED TO THIS NEW 'ATMOSPHERE'. I THOUGHT THIS ALBUM TOPPED "WHAT IT IS TO BURN" BY A MILE BECAUSE THEY WERE JUST ANOTHER PUNK ROCK BAND THEN.
I MUST SAY I AM TERRIBLY UPSET FINCH HAS CALLED IT QUITS, I LISTEN TO BITEMARKS AND BLOODSTAINS EVERY DAY WITHOUT GETTING TIRED OF IT...I GUESS THIS ALBUM WASNT READY AT THIS POINT IN TIME?

This album DID turn some "fans" away however this album is a lot more experimental in it's sound. Personally I think it that Finch put a lot of effort into this album and I just wish that this was recognised more. Personally I adore every single track on this album (which is rare for me) and will never forget any of them, since music is a large and important part of my life.This Message Edited On 08.28.06

I love this album, I think it was a great step forward from What It Is To burn, and very different which is always good.

I could never get into this album. They seem to be a little bit more... emo-ish. Or that might just be me.

This album is amazing, i was suprised cos i pretty much hate WIITB.
