This album is strange. My opinion about it constantly fluxuates. I find it hard to really compare this to any other music, though. It's like trying to compare an orange to a bicycle.

Good review, considering how hard it is to review this album. I bought it today and I'm not too sure what to make of it. I doubt I'll ever listen to all of it.

I love this album. Is that weird? Probably.

I love this album. Is that weird?

I don't think so...though I don't think of it as "music" (more art)

This is one hell of an album. I love listening to it and i actually find that it has longer lifespan than most of the other fantomas stuff.

"You should all check out John Zorn's "Moonchild" right now... Zorn wrote it to be performed by Patton, Trevor Dunn, and someone else I forget now. Imo, that is what I envisioned Fantomas being, although Suspended Animation is great."

Joey Baron was the other, and yeah it's a great album.

I really want to hear this for the first time tonight outside and alone, but I'm not sure if I have the balls

Awful review. The bands referenced (Pink Floyd? Led Zeppelin? Seriously???) and the God awful descriptions ("taking in elements of everything from jazz to funk to death metal" when there's not a single trace of "death metal" to be found on this song) make me think that he didn't have any particular frame of reference regarding this kind of music. And yes, this album has a really strong Nurse With Wound / Throbbing Gristle thing going on.

I actually enjoyed this album a lot. A few years ago, I listened to it at night and had to rip my earbuds out of my ears around the 3:14 mark because I was so freaked out by that scream. I listen to this album while I program applications in my computer programming class in school, as I am supposed to be doing now haha.

This is good and it sure is weird but not scary by any means.

This is probably my favorite Fantomas. They all bounce around as my favorite, but right now. This is the favorite. Has the most lasting effect on me.
