metallica are gods at covering other bands shit...the cover of breadfan is improved like 10000 times by james's singing and specially by the solos that kirk ads, i personally dislike a lot the original version from budgie

I like Turn The Page even though they didn't actually do that good of a job at it.

yeah that cover is killer...ive only heard like 4 songs from motorhead, but the covers they made of them are pretty bad, i dont know if the original songs are that bad or they messed up, all i know is that motorheads voice is one of the most annoying voices ive heard, maybe along with dave mustaine

Not bad, certainly. Production's pretty basic, but I don't care. They're not exactly gonna piss-fart around in the studio for 2 years over something which is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, are they.

Some of the covers were devilishly surprising though (Nick Cave - wtf???) but overall pretty enjoyable.

Not to keen on the first disc apart from Sabbra Cadabra and Turn the Page. Things pickup loads on the second disc though, i wish Killing Time was longer.

personally i like the cover they did of "Tuesday's Gone" it was very well harmonized and i don't know which band member was playing the harmonica but they kicked ass at it

Brilliant covers album. So What, Am I evil?, Overkill, Stone Cold crazy, Last Caress, breadfan and Whiskey in the Jar are all ace. Okay review.

Phil Lynott And James Hetfield have gotta be the only two guys that can say, "Musha ring dum a doo dum a da" and still sound cool

Am I Evil is by far the best song on this album, in my opinion
