Morrissey's vocals was its peak (as the reviewer said) and the entire album (particularly that middle section) proves it

Opener is kind of stunning ngl. Love how vulnerable this record feels - maybe the first Moz record in which the world weariness feels genuine and earned instead of a tongue in cheek put-on or character bit.
