I agree with that statement. The drums are pretty nicely mixed on this album, but the bass drowns behind the guitars, Ozzy's singing is off-putting often, and the guitar is a little low in the mix for me.

First three songs for me. Junior's Eyes is easily my favorite on here.

Good album, this still interests me more than everything that came after.

My favorite Sabbath cover, everything by Hipgnosis is perfect
|

The covers alone of this and TE hint at a big stepdown from the first 6. I really dont like them.

With the exception of the debut, there's nothing special in the first 6 covers
|

They're all better than this and especially TE.

TE is the only Ozzy Sabbath cover other than the debut and Sabby Bloody Sabby that actually looks good. I mean:
Paranoid: blurry picture of a pink soldier in the bottom corner
Master Of Reality: Master Of Reality
Vol 4: A yellow cut out of Ozzy
Sabotage: Bill Ward in his wife's red tights standing with the band.
Never Say Die!: blokes standing in front of a plane
13: 13 ON FIRE
