Yeah well screw them. I bet they all secretly wank to Jessica Simpson.
you don't?

I know I sure do. Every chance I get.

It's just disappointing when compared to Kid A and OK Computer... It's still a very good album. I'll give it a 4.

Hmmm. Good review for the most part. I like Knives Out though. And I absolutely love Hunting Bears. It leads into Like Spinning Plates perfectly. Has anyone else heard Like Spinning Plates live? It's so amazing.

good review this is the only main radiohead album i don't have..yet
|

This album really grows on you. I'll bring this up to a 4.5.

This is my favorite Radiohead album out there, and I feel it usually gets snubbed unfairly. I see a lot more of a difference between it and Kid A, as well. Decent review, but I think it was a bit too harsh. "Knives Out" and "You and Whose Army" are my favorite tracks, as well.
|
| |
nope. 3.5 doesn't cover it
|
| |
Yeah, this album is a total classic.

You're such an angry young man.
|

I like Knives Out =(

Cathedral, you're right. Dollars and Cents, Knives Out, and Jessica Simpson and all uber.

I like "Like Spinning Plates" so much better now after hearing the piano version at their show. Thom started playing piano, and i didnt really know which song it was until he started singing. I was totally floored...you really cant hear how complex this song is with all the ambience and static stuff going on, but man, is it good. This Message Edited On 03.05.06

Brought this yesterday to complete my Radiohead collection and Im uttery astounded. What the shit is it? I think Bends and Computer are two of the best albums ever, perfect in every way (particulalrly Computer) and then Kid A and Hail were good but nowhere near. This is just in a different league. It just feels like people are praising it just because it's Radiohead (I know I gave Hail far more time to grow than I would if it had been anyone else). Just a mess of experimentation and some virtually unlistenable songs.

Nice review. This album really should be listened to as a whole. It's got a lot of crap to sift through, but there's enough brilliant work to make up for it.

I'm finally coming to terms with this album. It's great. Actually, the artwork alone makes it worthwhile for me, but what I love is digging in to these songs and seeing that it's actually quite a bleak album.
Great songwriting from everyone involved. Pyramid song sees amazing contributions from everyone, with Yorke on the piano, Phil absolutely making the song with his jazzy dumbeats and Greenwood with those great strings. It's those moments that make this album great.

it seems to me that your to attached tothe guitar.. i think every song on this cd is amazing and it's 2nd favourite radiohead cd behind kid a

This is my favourite Radiohead CD.

I liked Pyramid Song and You and Whose Army, but as an album it's very disappointing. it might grow on me though.

I still love Pulk/pull revolving Doors and Hunting Bears which is surprising because both songs receive a lot of hate. I think the reason that I like this more then any other Radiohead album is because I never skip any tracks and the last half of the album is amazing.
