I think its a good album, but they kind of trapped themselves by going heavier with each album. Then the long break and this comes out. Sounded forced to my ears but definitely has some killer tunage on it.

sometimes I get in the mood to listen to this a lot, other times I hate it.

Hellbound is such a great opening track

Ever try Down, they're pretty good- Phil does the singing and Rex does the bass

This album was kind of a disappoint for me when it came out. To me, Great Southern Trendkill is my favorite Pantera record. With this, they tried to go back into their original form, but you could tell Phil's heart was not into this album. It just doesn't come out angry or true enough for me like Vulgar or Far Beyond. I will agree that Revolution is My Name and I'll Cast a Shadow are 5/5 songs, but the rest of the songs lack what I feel made Pantera awesome.

something about the way Phil's voice cuts through the music is fucking amazing

pity the songwriting is so patchy, when I am in the mood this is an awesome release though

A fucking badass Pantera album. Fuck all this shit about it being your least favorite. This record, although their last effort, smashes. Goddamn Electric, Yesterday Don't Mean Shit, Death Rattle, Revolution Is My Name, I'll Cast A Shadow. For fuck sake get with it and relisten to this beast of an album. I think you'd change your mind if you give it another try.

I'm commenting just cause it's been 5 years since anyone has left one. This is a kickass metal album that deserves a lot more recognition. Pantera for life!
