Brit metal my derriere! Try pop-punk. don't really like these guys much at all.

i put this album down after hearing Last Train Home. i didn't like that song very much, and that's what put me off this album, but the song started to grow on me, so i borrowed it from a friend.
this album is pretty good, nothing special, just alot of fun and happy music. it's nothing new and original, but it's still heaps of fun. the first album in my opinion, was better, but the production on this album is 10 times better.
the best tracks on the album, for me, are.
I Don't Know
Burn Burn
Start Something
A Million Miles (the old version is much better though, check it out)
a decent, fun album.
3.5/5

At first the cd is really cool and you can't stop listening to it, then it gets old and starts to suck wang, and the guys voice becomes whiny and annoying (not that it wasn't before) 1/5

this band is pure pop. this CD is crud and all i can say is good charlotte could be more hardcore! yes GOOD CHARLOTTE! you know the tw@s

I borrowed this album from my mate and at the time I didn't really think much of this band but after hearing the opening track I changed my mind. This album is pretty good album and after listening to it the whole way through, I went out and bought it the next day. The best tracks are We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan and I Don't Know which has a bloody good solo!

03. RIDE
Another song with a punk feel, but still has the metal vibe. This is a very fast song and shouldn't be skipped. The verses are upbeat and the chorus has a cool screaming part where he just shouts "RIDE RIDE RIDE" and it suits the song so well.
It' is exactly this kind of song that makes me mixed on this album. This song is CRAP. The guy actually has a semi-decent voice; why not use it? Just screaming your head off makes you sound like a complete idiot that is trying to appeal to the mass stupidity of most people's music tastes. But anyway.
Other than the rampant screaming in some songs, I like this album. Especially make a move. only about two seconds of screaming ;-)
I'd give it a 3/5. Pretty good--could be better with less screaming and less repetative songs.
I've heard 3 songs from this album - Burn Burn and Last Train Home, which I can't stand, and We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan, which I really like. Based on that, and the fact that beyond Shinobi.. and the title track I didn't like the first album much, would I like this album, overall?
You'd like half and hate the other half :thumb:

I love this CD it has great transitions for the songs, an awesome opener, and awesome closer with all of the percussion usage. I love every song on the CD and can't choose only one to be my favorite. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes music, it is so unique compared to other albums and is definatly worth the money. 9.5/10...nothings perfect.
The leaked version had 15 songs, the real CD has:
12 on the US release (all except WAG, YAJ + Lucky You)
13 on the UK release (all except Lucky You)
14 on the Japan release (all tracks)
What.... that's not fair! Why oh WHY! Haha. What's the point of doing that? And, how does Japan get the most songs? Not even the Uk does... That doesn't make sense. I still like them though. " I Don't Know" is my favorite song of the cd.
And, I know these groups are friends or what not but how dare you compare Lostprophets to Good Charlotte!!! They aren't the same to me....*vomits*

I find this stuff to be generic and boring.
At points it's shockingly inconsistent, but there's some real quality stuff here.
Sounds great live, too.
LostProphets may well be better off doing an album of pop covers. Their versions of Cry Me A River and Sweet Dreams My LA Ex are pure gold.
Meh, I saw them live. Quite boring.
