The names in brackets in the tracklisting are the alternate names for every song.
Radiohead is the most consistently amazing band in existence right now. I can only hope that they continue this with their new album due to release in February 2006.
I agree, although I heard a song that's supposedly going to be on the new album and was...well...less than impressed. :-

First of all great review.

This is a decent album but nothing special. "Sit Down, Stand Up" is my favorite track off of here.

I would totally agree with Zebra...

...when I would've read his opinion one week ago.

I've been listening to this album for quite a while. I've never seemed to get used to it. Since an hour ago. It just came, it just felt right. It made me pleasant, it made me interested, I was inspired to be creative.

A lot of albums can't do that with my innerself. Maybe I was just in the mood, maybe something else.

Anyway, I give this album a four.

Amazing review, though I don't think We Suck Young Blood or The Gloaming bring the album down whatsoever. We Suck Young Blood is one of my favorite songs.

Comes very close to their two great albums.

Good job with the review. I agreed with most of it.

Maybe I should give this album some more time. I think it's a great album, but IMO it just lacks something.

I sure hope Radiohead will release their new album soon, because I'm sick of hearing about their old ones.

That said, this is a good album. The Gloaming is my favorite off it.

This was the first Radiohead CD I actually bought (the week it came out, if not mistaken. Maybe the day it was released... Can't remember now). This is by far my favorite Radiohead album, followed by Kid A. I just seem to like the overall gloomyness of the album. OK Computer has great songs and all, but it just doesn't have... the feel that captibates (sp?) me to like this one so much. This Message Edited On 11.19.05

There are a lot of GOOD songs on here and only a few are very good. I'll give this a 4. It's definitely better than Pablo and not quite as good as Amnesiac and The Bends.

this album... i think... really reveals this radiohead (Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer) and that radiohead (Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail To The Thief). The new radiohead really shows a maturity and i think it is the greatest music i have ever listened to and it will be forever. Now you compare this to Pablo Honey. THey are totally different! i just love looking at the evolution of a band. especially radiohead

^I think I'm having the same problem. While I enjoy most of these songs I can't really get into them like I could on previous Radiohead albums.

When I'm fair and don't compare this to any other Radiohead album I think it gets a 3 or 3.5.

I agree with Kage, this was a very good review. I disagree with you on The Gloaming, Scatterbrain, and a few others, but I also see where you're coming from. *votes*

i disagree with you strongly in many of your criticisms on this album

mainly radiohead has never been about the lyrics and to critisize them and yet boast OK Computer is hypocritical

secondly i believe this is one of Radiohead's most experimental albums to date, just as Kid A was

i agree that there are ups and downs to this but i greatly admire them for not sticking to the same sound and further twisting their music in a time when it seems that conformity rules

overall well written

Wait a minute, there. "Radiohead has never been about the lyrics."

That's a bold statement. Although lyrical focus was somewhat diverted on Kid A, Radiohead has always been about the lyrics for me. That's not to say they're not about the vocals or the music, but the lyrics, as with other bands like Tool or The Mars Volta, give most of the songs their meaning.

I listen to Radiohead because of the music, while the lyrics are pretty good 85% of the time sometimes I just don't understand the meaning to them.
