if the drumming wasn't COMPLETELY bland throughout the entire album, and if mogwai had the sense to add some structure to their albums and not put like 5 extremely soft and slow songs back to back, then maybe this would be a good album. dont know what happened to them after young team. they just lost it. for me, young team is a 4.5 or maybe even a 5, and every album they've done since then is between 2 and 3.

Dude, c'mon. Happy Songs is at least a 3.5, My Father My King is probably the best thing they've done, and Mr. Beast is at least decent

Happy Songs is a 4.5 for me. I can't even begin to tell you how much i love that album.
Mr. Beast is actually my least favorite of theirs by default, because it's the one that i feel least compelled to return to.
