I definitely prefer the first album over this one but this one's decent. The clean vocals are pretty bad though. Sounds like Michael Stype doing a vortex impression

I didn't dig this nearly as much as the first. I'll keep trying though cuz' the debut rules.

Love Garm's vocals on this. The cleans are very similar to the oddly whimsical annunciated style he did with Arcturus on La Masquerade. I do prefer the more avantgarde style Borknagar started working towards on Quintessence and perfected on Empiricism. But that's just me.
