Well, it's Pennywise as they have always been. I was really suprised by "One Reason" as it is unusual hard hitting for a PW song.
But yeah, overall it's just the same stuff we heard on felt 300+ albums by Penywise. What a pity they do not try to evolve and develop their established sound further.

Album is average (on the basis of it is just another safe Pennywise album) The album is average because the band doesn't change up their sound or formula from album to album? Well, there is no reason to argue that since that can be seen as a good thing or bad thing depending on how you feel about their sound/formula.and I'd rather not download it all than get on my knees for a company to listen to a band's latest album. Finished. If you want to continue you this, give me a contact where we can talk about this, otherwise it really doesn't matter Based on your continued exaggerations I don't see the point in talking any further about this part of it.

To be perfectly honest, your argument would carry a lot more weight if you made it about 4 albums ago.

To be perfectly honest, your argument would carry a lot more weight if you made it about 4 albums ago. I think it's still relevant, because I like their sound the way it is and am not too worried about any type of progression... I'm just glad that the album sounds like they're actually excited to be playing again.

I agree that it's the same old same old, but isn't that sometimes good with regards to bands? Who wants to stick with a band that changes its sound to suit public interest?
I also disagree with your sentiment that most of their songs are centered around religion...many on "Reason to Believe" are centered on politics...I'm a longtime Pennywise fan and am not disappointed with the latest release. Would have totally bought it if it hadn't been free. Good review, but it was obvious you didn't like the band before you listened to the release.

Willie: I take it you're an advocate of bands like Metallica who sue about their music being distributed just so they can pad their own pockets. Or maybe you're a press agent.
Puh-leeze. Give this band some credit for actually NOT being concerned with making millions.

Good review, but you obviously weren't a Pennywise and/or punk fan to begin with. Stick to your own genre.

I will give endless internet cred to anyone who counts the total amount of the words "lie(s)" or "society" in the pennywise discography.
I think this is hilarious too: they have a song called Lies. They also have a song called Society. COOL HUH?
Stick to your own genre.
What an unashamedly stupid thing to say. Diversification is a wonderful thing my son.
